It wasn't so... not in the literal sense. I was actually quite busy hanging out with buddies, driving around & watching movies.
I meant I was drinking. I actually only "really" drank once during the weekend but what a time that was... so yeah it was a wasted weekend since I spent the next day trying to get over the buzz.

Sat night fever
That was fun.
Had a blast with some old pals and some new ones at my lair. Chilled to some nice house music, punjabi beats and some sexy mixes by Dj Praveen.
Played cards and some silly word games. I wanted to play Kings and I Never but damitt, people just don't drink.
Anyway, tonight proved that some fun can be had with minimal consumption of alcohol.
Can't wait to do it all over again soon... This is gonna be one hell of a weekend.

Quotes of the Day - Light
Blinded by the light. Today's quotes courtesy of qoTd:-
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
- Siddhartha Gautama, 563 - 483 BC
I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.
- Og Mandino
What is to give light must endure burning.
- Viktor Emil Frankl, 1905 - 1997
When in the dark is it better to move or stand still? If still, you won't bump into anything - but you won't find the light either.
- Norm Howe

Back from the Ashes
As the Aussies celebrated re-claiming the urn, Indian cricket got a boost in the arm and us fans got one straight in the heart as India won their first cricket test ever in South Africa.
The faith has been re-kindled.

Update Complete
Finally, the long overdue move to Blogger Beta is complete.
I love the new look blogger. Better flexibility with template editing and awesome archive structuring on the tab on the right. I would have preferred some sort of twin tab thingie but I'll look into it during the week.
Changed the hell out of all the colors and fonts.
Only thing I will miss is my dear old web stats hit counter.
Edit: I got my counter running again so hurrah!!!!

Quotes of the Day - Stare
Hi peeps.. Time for another round of quotes of the day.
Today's Theme is 'Stare' since right now I'm staring at the screen hoping for some divine intervention in the form of a couple of emails which will be my password to go home.
The great courage is to stare as squarely at the light as at death.
Albert Camus
Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing, that we see too late the one that is open.
- Alexander Graham Bell
Many people hear voices when no-one is
there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up on rooms where they
stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do
pretty much the same thing.
- Meg Chittenden
The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
Vance Havner
